Challenge: After we learned that Moana Pasifika, a beloved Super Rugby team, was facing liquidation, we felt compelled to honour their legacy with a tribute poster. We aimed to design something striking, polished, and impactful.
Solution: We crafted a series of posters inspired by the club’s vibrant blue and orange colors, which are at the heart of our design. Each poster highlights some of the club’s standout athletes through the years, including Ardie Savea and Timoci Tavatavanawi, among others. To bring a unique touch to our work, we incorporated a Pacific blue theme, featuring rich textures reminiscent of the Pacific, along with images of the beach and inviting blue waters.
Outcome: We put together a variety of gradient maps for this poster, showcasing its versatility with different colors and styles. It’s a vibrant piece that captures attention, and we really hope to see Moana back in action in Super Rugby soon!
