Blake is a New Zealand-based freelance graphic designer who has successfully combined his passion for graphic design with his enthusiasm for sports. With over six years of experience in sports marketing and two years in graphic design, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his work. Football is his primary passion, and he is a dedicated follower of various sports. His favorite teams include Manchester United, Wellington Phoenix, Crusaders, All Blacks, Blackcaps, and NZ Warriors.
His journey commenced in 2009 with the launch of his inaugural website, ‘FootballFanFC.com’. This platform featured comprehensive profiles of the world’s most renowned footballers. Although it may now feel outdated, it served as an early glimpse into his future endeavors and passions.
In 2012, his focus transitioned to the YouTube channel ‘Football Boots’, where he took on multiple roles, including journalist, marketing assistant, video editor/presenter, and graphic designer. Over the course of seven years, the channel grew to amass one million subscribers by 2018.
During his tenure at ‘Football Boots’, he dedicated considerable time to mastering Adobe Photoshop and established his own Instagram account and portfolio, where he has been producing content for several years.
His passion for creation deepened, fueled by his love for football, leading him to embark on a graphic design side hustle in 2023. He specializes in crafting sports graphic packs for clients worldwide, with a commitment to expand his skills, learn continuously, and deliver professional, high-quality graphics.
